ISP Uganda partners with 16 local organizations (schools, NGO/CBOs), providing financial support to meet school fees and scholastic requirements of 1,356 children – 739 female and 617 male. The partner organizations are charged with identifying the beneficiaries, monitoring of academic and physical progress as well as making periodic reports about each child. The program is the largest and constitutes 63% of ISP Uganda’s total project budget.
Similar support also goes to a few specific cases from under privileged areas such as Karamoja region as a way of ensuring that these areas get persons qualified in fields that will add value to their communities such as Medicine and Surgery.
