ISP has a strong commitment to strengthening the local partner organizations, and its roles and responsibilities are to facilitate learning. This is achieved through providing resources and training to the beneficiaries.
We utilize capacity building as a conceptual approach to development that focuses on the understanding of the obstacles that inhibit communities and organizations from realizing their development goals, while enhancing the abilities that will allow them to achieve measurable and sustainable results.
We recognize capacity building as an ongoing process and therefore our aim is to strengthen skills, competences and the abilities of the people and communities in developing societies so that they can overcome the causes of their exclusion and suffering. The major aim is to make sure that the beneficiaries are able to provide quality education and learning for sustainable development, and especially for the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs).
